About Our Speakers
MARK ANDERSON, Attorney, has extensive experience in tax planning and trust and estate administration on behalf of business owners and their families, coordinating tax planning with efficient business operations. These planning services are provided within the framework of maintaining family plans for income and asset distribution, economic control and asset protection. In addition to his core tax and estate planning practice, Mark enjoys working on complex LLC operating agreements and is a frequent speaker on this subject, as well as asset protection planning and related matters.
Louis Sands, JD, CPA, serves as a trusted advisor for a variety of clients, such as professional services, law firms, high net worth individuals and family groups, and family offices. Louis has expertise in managing comprehensive personal and business tax planning needs. His specialized knowledge of trusts, pass through entities and private foundations positions clients, their families and businesses for the future by collaborating with other advisors to implement complex estate and gifting plans, establish private foundations, and structure international tax ownership or transfer of foreign assets. Louis understands the implications of major life events such as marriage, divorce or buying investment property. He is skilled in gift/estate planning, income tax liability, cash flow and asset protection. In addition, Louis is an attorney in Good Standing in Illinois. He serves on various committees, such as Illinois CPA Society Individual Taxation Committee and the Chicago Estate Planning Committee. Louis is a frequent speaker on estate planning, gift tax and individual tax issues, as well as a credible resource on television and radio interviews regarding these topics.
